May 17,
2006 -- Yikes, has it really been so long since I last posted?
I've been neglecting things here. A lot has happened, some of
it good, some bad. The bad new: LTDBooks, which published
A Question of Fire and Shadow
of a Doubt, went out of business at the end of
2005. It was a classy outfit and I'm going to miss them. The
good news: Cerridwen
Press, the mainstream imprint of Ellora's
Cave, has picked up rights to Shadow
of a Doubt and will be re-releasing it, first in electronic
form and then in print. More to come!
I do still
have a few trade paperback copies of A
Question of Fire. If anyone wants to order a copy,
email me.
May 16
-- I added a couple of pictures to the Dragons
page. They include some snapshots of some of my personal
collection of dragon figures and other dragon things.
November

Love Romances, and 4 stars from Romantic Times!

I'm getting ready to go to Dragon*Con
next week. Please look for me and say hello if you're going
to be there!
May 17, 2002--It's been a long time since I posted anything,
but there hasn't been much to say until recently. Now I've got
several exciting notes:
First - I just signed the
contract, so it's now official. ImaJinn will be publishing an
extensively revised and rewritten version of The
Rainbow Bridge! The book will be retitled WIZARD'S
BRIDGE, so I don't have to keep explaining that it has nothing
to do witih dead pets. I don't have a pub. date yet, but I'm
assuming some time next year.
Second - I will be a guest
at Dragon*Con again this
year. I had a blast at last year's con and am looking forward
to doing it again this year!
Third - I'm working on
scanning in the text for one of my now out-of-print Avalon Books
and will be giving it away as a free electronic download to
help promote my current books. I hope to have it ready to put
up for download in the next couple of weeks!
December 12, 2001--Witch's Journey
is a finalist for an Eppie Award in the Paranormal Romance category!
December 3, 2001--Samandi
(aka DragginMama), who organizes the Dream Realm Awards
gifted me with a delightful surprise, a lovely snow globe with
dragon. You can see it on my Dragons
page.
November 30, 2001--I've just signed the contract! Witch's
Journey will be a Fall 2002 release in trade paperback from
ImaJinn Books, a print
publisher specializing in paranormal romances.
November 12, 2001 Witch's Journey
is a finalist for the
Dream Realm Awards in the Speculative Fiction-Romance category!
I have a contract offer for it and will be announcing its new
home as soon as the names are on the bottom line.
A Question of Fire is now available
from LTDBooks.
September 7, 2001 Back from Dragon*Con! I had a terrific
time there and met a lot of very interesting people. I'm still
recovering from the exhaustion, but also feeling energized and
ready to get writing again myself. On the writing front, I've
learned that A Question
of Fire should be released in electronic form
any day now from LTDBooks.
Print editions are coming.
August 20, 2001 Shadow
of a Doubt is now available in electronic
form at LTD
Books. A Question
of Fire should be released in electronic form
in September. Print editions are coming.
July 30, 2001 I've learned that A
Question of Fire and Shadow
of a Doubt will be re-released in electronic
form in August by LTD Books.
There will be print versions, also. Availability of those hasn't
yet been announce.
July 22, 2001 The weekend of August 31 - Sept. 2, I'll
be a guest at Dragon*Con in Atlanta. Among other things I'll
be doing a panel on e-publishing on Friday. If you're going
to be there, look for me and come say hello!
May 30, 2001 With a heavy heart I report that Dreams
Unlimited is no more. This is sad, sad news, but I'm trying
to look on it as an opportunity to do new things. The good news
is that two of my books, Shadow of a Doubt
and A Question of Fire, will be picked
up by LTD Books, a terrific
epublisher with an excellent reputation. I'm looking at a different
possible future for Witch's Journey
and The Rainbow Bridge. I'll post
the news as soon as I know something definite.
February 25, 2001: At Last! WITCH'S JOURNEY
is now available at Dreams
Unlimited! Click here to
read an excerpt from the story. In honor of it, I'll be running
a contest, too. Look for it to be starting soon.
February, 2001: SHADOW OF A DOUBT is an
Eppie Finalist in the Romantic Suspense category! The Eppie
Award is presented by EPIC, a professional organization of electronically
published authors, to promote excellence in electronic publishing.
I'm now three for three with electronic books being finalists
in the Eppies.
