Since
I graduated from Duke University with a degree in Spanish and
Anthropology (don't ask how many years ago, okay?), I've gone
through several careers, including computer programming, editor
for a series of magazines for pet lovers and those in the pet
trade. I've recently retired from being Senior Web editor
for Reed Business Information's home furnishings group, publisher
of trade publications Furniture/Today,
Home Accents Today,
Kids Today,
SoHo Today, and
Casual Living.
I'm now devoting full time to my writing and web
design business.
I love writing. I do most of my story-spinning late at
night and on weekends. I've
written several novels and and many articles and short stories.
In addition to the electronically published novels you saw on
my home page, I've had four novels of
romantic mystery/suspense published by Avalon Books, a fantasy
role-playing game book published by Iron Crown Enterprises, and
I've sold a number of short stories in the science fiction, fantasy,
mystery and romance genres (and a number of hybrids thereof),
mostly to small-press publications. Click
here to see covers and read blurbs of my other books.
I live in Greensboro, North Carolina with my wonderfully
supportive husband. I have three grown children (who are also
very supportive), two adorable, wonderful grandchildren, terrific
parents, helpful brothers and sisters (.!.) and a few other children
who've dropped in over the years, as well as the hamsters, gerbils,
birds, dog, cat, and rabbit that have come and gone. In my spare
time I enjoy gardening, sports (baseball,
football and college
basketball), travel, guitars (actually, I haven't had time
to pick one up in a good while, but the affection is still there),
and reading.
I appreciate comments from readers and can be reached
